Grant and Glenda have two eggs! Egg 1 (GG3) was laid 3-4-20; Egg 2 (GG4) was laid 3-7-20; first seen about 9:29 pm. Congratulations!!!
Glenda was discovered injured in Spokane, WA in June 2012 and taken to the Washington State University’s Veterinary Hospital raptor program for treatment. She was in extremely poor condition with multiple injuries and very sick. She’s a warrior and doing much better now!
Grant is an adult male Bald Eagle. He had been treated at the Wildlife Center of Virginia for a fractured bone, but during recovery he developed problems with his left wrist, which left him permanently disabled. He was transferred to the American Eagle Foundation in July 2009.
Today, Grant and Glenda are non-releasable Bald Eagles that live at the American Eagle Foundation in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

From 9am-6pm PST visit with the otters at the Seattle Aquarium. Say hello to male Adaa; females Lootas and Aniak (who happen to be mother and daughter); and their newest friend, female Mishka.
In the wild, sea otters sometimes “hold hands”—or, more accurately, paws—while sleeping so they don’t drift away from their raft (the term for a group of resting sea otters). While charming to think about, this paw holding doesn’t actually happen that frequently. Large rafts of sea otters in the wild are more likely to stay together by watching each other, listening for each other, and casual body contact—then adjusting movements of their tails and rear flippers to maintain proximity. Paw holding is most likely a learned behavior specific to certain individual sea otters, who may find it comforting! Awwww.

Orangutans share their habitat with playful siamangs, the largest of the gibbons, which inhabit the same forest of Indonesia and Malaysia as the orangutans. And in San Diego, they have a lot of fun together at the zoo!
The orangutans includes adult male Satu and females Indah, Karen, and newest member, Aisha, who was born on October 25, 2013.
The gibbons include Unkie, an adult male, and his mate of many years, Eloise. They have been together since 1987 and can often be heard singing duets in harmony!
………..and so many more! Baboons, koalas, pandas, elephants! Take a peek and enjoy!
